Suspect fires nail gun at police in Michigan

SUMMIT TOWNSHIP, Mich.

Cameras were rolling as a 50-year-old man came out of his house in Summit Township firing a nail gun at officers.

About six hours later, police broke down the front door and took him into custody.

Police say the suspect had barricaded himself inside the home after chasing his girlfriend and her mother down the street with a knife.

The man suffered minor injuries, according to police. None of the officers was hurt.
