The U.S. Postal Service said it will issue the stamp featuring the Oscar-winning director next year.
The artwork on the stamp is inspired by Huston's 1941 masterpiece "The Maltese Falcon" which starred Humphrey Bogart.
Huston's film credits also include classics like "The Treasure of Sierra Madre", "The Asphalt Jungle" and "Prizzi's Honor."
His stamp is part of a four-stamp Great Film Directors series. Frank Capra and John Ford stamps were announced earlier this month.
