Authorities arrested 29-year-old Broderick Allen. He is accused of hitting and killing 29-year-old Damisha Ford outside of Teazers Bar & Nightclub last Friday.
Detectives say it began with an argument inside the nightclub and ended in the parking lot. Allen tried to get away in his Dodge Charger and ran over Ford, who was an innocent bystander.
Ford was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Deputies say Allen fled the area, and the abandoned vehicle was located a few blocks away. Investigators say Allen contacted authorities to discuss the incident on Monday.
Allen has been booked for vehicular manslaughter as well as hit-and-run causing death. He's in custody at Victor Valley Jail on $100,000 bail and was scheduled for arraignment on Wednesday.
