3.5-mag. earthquake shakes Orange County

SAN JOAQUIN HILLS, Calif.

The quake, which struck at 2:56 a.m. PT, had a preliminary magnitude of 3.5 and hit one mile northeast of San Joaquin Hills, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

There were no reports of damage or injuries.

The temblor was felt across Orange County, including in Garden Grove, Irvine, Westminster, Huntington Beach, Anaheim and Santa Ana.

"It woke me up. It shook the bed," said Omar Davila of Anaheim.

Many Eyewitness News viewers said that they felt a quick jolt.
