Americans can't shake unhealthy eating

Research shows that while Americans say they'd like restaurants to offer healthier items, they don't tend to order them.

It seems Americans just can't shake unhealthy eating habits.

New research shows that while 47 percent of Americans say they'd like restaurants to offer healthier items like salads, only 23 percent actually tend to order those foods.

When it comes to eating out, lots of people are still going for fast, comfort foods and the burger and fries route.

The mixed message hasn't stopped restaurants from offering healthy fare. They claim the items sell decently.
