Glendale residents win fight over mirrors on trees

GLENDALE, Calif.

The Glendale mayor announced at a City Council meeting that although the mirrors are against city code, residents won't be forced to remove them.

Residents on Glendale Avenue say the mirrors are needed to navigate the fast, heavy traffic when backing out of their driveways.

City code officers had ordered the mirrors taken down since the public is not allowed to attach anything to city trees.
