Monday Night Football song yanked over Hank Williams Jr.'s Hitler comment

BRISTOL, Conn.

Hank Williams Jr. appeared on the Fox News Channel program "Fox & Friends" Monday morning. Williams said President Barack Obama golfing with House Speaker John Boehner would "be like Hitler playing golf with [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu."

Williams was discussing a golf outing Obama and Boehner shared in June.

Williams said "They're the enemy." He said by "they," he meant Obama and Vice President Joe Biden.

In a statement, ESPN said: "While Hank Williams Jr. is not an ESPN employee, we recognize that he is closely linked to our company through the open to 'Monday Night Football.' We are extremely disappointed with his comments."

The pulled song features the line "Are you ready for some football?" The song "All My Rowdy Friends" has been the Monday Night Football theme on ABC and ESPN since 1991.

Monday night's game features the Tampa Bay Buccaneers versus the Indianapolis Colts in Tampa Bay.
