Oxnard school worker allegedly sends lewd text messages to students

Raymond Hernandez Jr. is accused of sending lewd text messages to teenage students at Pacifica High School in Oxnard.

A 47-year-old school employee in Oxnard was arrested for allegedly sending lewd text messages to teenage students.

Raymond Hernandez Jr. was a campus supervisor at Pacifica High School in Oxnard. Campus supervisors monitor student safety on campus.

Police said several 15- and 16-year-old female students reported that Hernandez had said sexual things to them and sent them lewd text messages.

Hernandez also worked as a night custodian at Haydock Intermediate School. Authorities said they don't believe any students there were victimized by Hernandez, who is set to be arraigned on Dec. 2.
