The giant pandas, both 3 years old, were transported from China to France's Loire Valley where they will stay for the next decade.
The animals will have a month to get used to their new surroundings before going on display to the public.
These two are the first pandas on French soil since the death of Yen Yen at a zoo just outside Paris in 2000.
Zoo officials hope the male and female pair will breed while in France.
