The cost of sending a letter is going up by 1 cent, boosting the price of a First-Class Mail stamp to 45 cents.

Sending a post card is also getting more expensive by 3 cents, adding up to 32 cents.

The U.S. Postal Service is also raising rates on letters to international destinations.

Letters to Canada or Mexico will see a 5-cent increase to 85 cents, and letters to other international destinations will see a 7-cent raise to $1.05.

The price hike is set to begin on Sunday.

Express Mail and Priority Mail prices are staying the same.

The higher prices are aimed at easing the USPS' financial crisis.
