Damine Banks, 30, Jerome Allen, 23, and Traevon Vidaud, 24, were arraigned on Thursday. The three face a string of felony charges, including attempted murder, robbery and gang activity. They could face 38 years to life in prison if convicted.
A fourth defendant, Roosevelt Fernandez, 26, was charged separately but is facing the same felony counts.
All are being held on bail ranging from $1 million to $2.1 million.
Prosecutors say the four, and a fifth suspect who remains at large, allegedly robbed Empire Jewelry Pawn Shop in Moreno Valley on Dec. 12, shooting and wounding the clerk. They then led authorities on a chase that ended near Cal State Fullerton, where all five ran from their vehicle. At least one suspect was seen running through campus, which forced officials to lock down the university for nearly eight hours.
