The dolphins left the wetlands shortly after noon.
Initially, there was just one dolphin. It was unclear how long it had been there or what kind of shape it was in. At about 9 a.m., a second dolphin was spotted nearby.
Marine mammal experts at the scene said the dolphins appeared healthy and not in distress. Authorities waited for high tide to see if the two would leave on their own accord.
About a year ago, another dolphin was in the wetlands and stayed there for about a week before swimming back into deep water.
