California State University, Northridge students struck by car in crosswalk

Two California State University, Northridge students are in critical condition after being hit by a car in a Northridge crosswalk.

The incident happened shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday in the 9300 block of North Zelzah Avenue on the east side of the CSUN campus.

The driver who hit the two pedestrians did stop. Police are calling it an accident and say the driver will not face any charges.

The injured students suffered several broken bones.
