The incident occurred around 6:30 a.m. Thursday on South Broadway Street, south of West Albertoni Street.
Authorities say a black BMW 330i hit the pedestrian while he was in a crosswalk. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital and is expected to survive.
The vehicle's California license plate is possibly 6MDH070.
