Kidman was standing at a New York hotel when a man on a bike ran into her. She was knocked to the ground, and even fell out of one of her shoes. The impact also caused the man to fall off of his bike.
Both got up and were uninjured.
Kidman spoke about what happened later in the evening at an event for Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week.
"I am, I'm up, I'm walking around but I was shaken," she said.
The 19-year-old bicyclist was issued three summonses for riding a bike on the sidewalk, riding a bike with no helmet and reckless driving.
