USC student found dead in apartment identified

LOS ANGELES

School officials say Thu Yain "Roy" Kyaw was a sophomore from Singapore at USC's Marshall School of Business.

According to law enforcement, Kyaw attended a fraternity Halloween party Thursday and was found on Sunday unconscious and not breathing at his apartment.

Kyaw, 22, was found dead by his brother, who came to check on him at his apartment near campus.

An autopsy is scheduled to determine a cause of death. Foul play was not suspected.

USC administrators have recently cracked down on Greek parties, banning them on weekdays and requiring fraternities and sororities to register them on weekends.
