Larry Soo Shin, 35, of Yorba Linda, has been arrested on suspicion of murder. The motive for the stabbing remains under investigation.
Authorities say a bicyclist spotted the body in the grass at about 5:40 a.m. Tuesday on Live Oak Lane. The victim, only identified as an African-American woman, suffered stab wounds to the upper body.
Investigators say it appears the attack happened at or near where the body was discovered. It is not yet clear what the relationship is between the suspect and the victim.
