Shoppers can buy flowers for wholesale at the California Flower Mall, saving 60 to 70 percent off retail price.
"And the product is fresh from the farms," said Hilda Jimenez, director of the California Flower Mall.
Not sure what color flowers to get? Jimenez says pink flowers are popular because it symbolizes appreciation. Yellows and oranges are also great choices because it represents enthusiasm and energy, Jimenez said.
The California Flower Mall opened at 4:30 a.m. Friday and will stay open until 7 p.m. Sunday for Mother's Day. Membership is not required, as it is open to the public.
