LA animal shelters offer free pet adoptions Black Friday weekend

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- All Los Angeles city animal shelters began offering free pet adoptions on Black Friday and will continue through the weekend.

The Best Friends Animal Society shelter in Mission Hills, NKLA Pet Adoption Center in West Los Angeles and more will adopt out pets for free through Monday courtesy of Zappos.com.

All fees, including spaying or neutering, vaccinations and microchipping will be waived.

As of Friday afternoon, at least 45 cats and dogs found their forever homes.
