Percy Jackson and The Olympians Season 2 is on the horizon and the cast offer some hints at what to expect
ANAHEIM, Calif -- The cast of "Percy Jackson and The Olympians" prepare for season 2 and give us a little hint at what to expect in the new season coming in 2025.
Walker Scobell, Aryan Simhadri and Leah Jeffries received high praise during their appearance at the Disney Entertainment Showcase during D23. The show's creator Rick Riordan joined the three on stage and announced that the new season would tackle the "Sea of Monsters" storyline.
On The Red Carpet spoke with the stars who shared why they're excited for fans to see the new setting.
"I'm really excited for them to see the chariot," Jeffries said. "I'm also really excited for them to see all the water scenes because there's a lot more water because obviously, we're in the sea of monsters."
"Rick said it great, if you liked last season you're going to love this season," Scobell added.
Season two will arrive next year on Disney+ and while we wait, the cast loves participating in fan events in between shooting.
"We take every opportunity we can to like talk to fans and do these awesome like comic cons like things and events," he said. "The fan questions are the best in my opinion. They're so real."
"Yeah, because you can tell they came from people who love the books and like know what they're talking about," Simhadri continued.
