1 found dead after Adelanto house fire; probe underway

ADELANTO, Calif. (KABC) -- One person was found dead following a house fire in Adelanto on Monday. A death investigation is underway.

The fire broke out in the 11500 block of Villa Street around 2:25 a.m., according to the San Bernardino Sheriff's Department.

San Bernardino County Fire and Adelanto police responded to the scene and found the victim after the blaze was put out. The identity of the victim is not yet known.

Homicide and bomb and arson Investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department are conducting an investigation.
