Hit-and-run driver plows into parked cars on Anaheim street

ANAHEIM, Calif. (KABC) -- Several cars were destroyed after a hit-and-run driver plowed down a street in Anaheim early Tuesday.

Anaheim police said the incident happened at about 2 a.m. in the 1300 block of N. Gilbert Street.

Witnesses said the driver hit several parked cars before rolling their own SUV. Authorities were in search of the driver, who fled the scene.

The events leading up to the crash were still under investigation.
