Man's body found in Anza; investigation underway

ANZA, Calif. (KABC) -- Riverside County sheriff's deputies with the Hemet Station are investigating the death of a man found in Anza.

Around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to Bautista Road, west of Tripp Falls on reports of a dead body. When authorities arrived, a man's dead body was found in advanced stages of decomposition.

Authorities say the man sustained traumatic injuries that may have been his cause of death. The man's identity was unknown.

The investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made in the case.
