Report: Credit cards not protecting IDs

(KABC) The California Public Interest Research Group just released its findings. According to the report, a third of consumers surveyed said that credit card companies weren't following the 2005 "shine the light" law.

It requires companies to let you know which third party they shared your information with, and to provide you with a cost-free way to opt out of future sharing.
