Witnesses claim Calles backed up over the victims, then drove off and ditched the car. Miguel Rocha and Lisa Santee were killed, and a third victim was in critical condition.
Police arrested Calles at his home in Downey Saturday morning.
Pedestrian hit-and-run driver arrested
LOS ANGELES Bryan Calles was driving a Honda Civic in the 3200 block of East Washington in Boyle Heights when the car veered off the road and hit three people on the sidewalk, police said.
