Authorities say a man was using a welding torch near a 55-gallon oil drum, when it blew up.
He and five other bystanders were rushed to the hospital with burn injuries. The welder was critically injured.
Authorities say the incident is being treated as an industrial accident, and Cal-OSHA will be notified.
