Study: Older people need less sleep

A study by researchers at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston found men and women between 60 and 72 years of age slept about one and a half hours less each day then a group between the ages of 18 and 32.

Researchers say one reason for the difference is complaints about insomnia by elderly people may simply be the normal process of aging and a shift in their internal clocks.
