Relatives and community activists say if Wicks was holding a gun it was for his own safety and officers should not have opened fire.
Inglewood PD under investigation
INGLEWOOD The Inglewood City Council voted to hire the agency in response to the outrage over the most recent shooting. Postal worker Kevin Wicks, 38, was shot and killed July 21 by Inglewood police after officers say he pointed a gun at them.
