L.A. food bank asks for public's help

MONTEBELLO The organization is holding a 12-hour drive on Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Albertson's in Montebello. The address is 2469 Via Campo.

The food bank says donations have been on the decline while the demand has increased by 80 percent since the spring.

The organization distributes groceries to about 670,000 people each year.
