2 blamed for Malibu fire to be in court

MALIBU, Calif. The Corral Canyon fire last November destroyed 53 homes, and six firefighters were injured battling the fire.

Eric Matthew and Dean Allen Lavorante are charged with arson and recklessly causing a fire resulting in injury.

Arson investigators say the fire started when the young men built an illegal campfire at the top of a Malibu hillside.
