Tougher overnight parking in West Covina

WEST COVINA, Calif. The West Covina City Council unanimously approved a parking plan that requires drivers to get an overnight permit starting next year.

The restrictions will apply to all streets between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m.

The city of La Verne implemented a similar ordinance last year, and since then, crime has decreased 20 percent.
