Anaheim gives up Angels name fight

ANAHEIM, Calif. The city had argued team owner /*Arte Moreno*/ violated the lease agreement when he changed the team's name from the /*Anaheim Angels*/ to the /*Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim*/ in 2005.

A California appeals court ruled against the city last month and on Tuesday night the City Council voted unanimously to give up its legal fight.
