CORONA, Calif. At the request of the San Bernardino diocese, /*Monsignor Thompson Circle*/ will be known as /*Saint Edward Circle*/.

/*Monsignor Matthew Thompson*/ served as pastor at nearby /*Saint Edward Church*/ for 30 years.

Two allegations of abuse were made against him, and he was named in the $200 million clergy abuse settlement in 2007.

Thompson died in 1976.
