Santa Monica building gutted by fire

SANTA MONICA, Calif. Firefighters were called to Santino's, located on the 3000 block of Lincoln Avenue just after 1 a.m.

It took crews nearly an hour to put out the flames.

No one was injured, but several overhead apartments were damaged.

A total damage estimate is being tallied.
