Man backing out of driveway shot to death

SOUTH LOS ANGELES Police responded to a shots fired call at about 11 p.m. and found the victim with several gunshot wounds inside a Honda Accord. He was transported to a local hospital, but later died.

Police do not know why the 25-year-old victim was targeted. LAPD Det. Daniel Gersna said the victim does not appear to have any gang ties.

No suspect information has been released.

Detectives are hoping anyone who saw something will contact them.
