Redlands students tour nation's capitol

WASHINGTON The 30 students from Moore Middle School saw famous landmarks and monuments on Friday. They toured the White House and met their congressman. Many say they were moved by a wreath laying ceremony they took part in at /*Arlington National Cemetery*/.

Jacqueline Frey, an eighth grader from Redlands said, "It meant a lot to me because my dad is in the Army. He fought in Iraq and Afghanistan. It touched me. I was really proud. And he was happy too. I called him on the phone and told him".

All the children said they were thrilled over their White House tour, especially because they caught a glimpse of First Lady /*Michelle Obama*/, who waved to them.
