Safe Place is a national network of support services for children facing anything from problems at home to feeling threatened or in danger.
Meghan Ravada, coordinator of Safe Place said the special program is aimed at children who are abused at home, victims of a crime, or just feel in danger at any point. Safe Place has established a series of havens where children can go for help, such as libraries, fire stations and even fast food restaurants. They all display the Safe Place sign in their windows.
