Ambulance runs over, kills sleeping man

LOS ANGELES A witness told police that last Thursday, 45-year-old David Ronald Bork was sleeping in the rear driveway of a business on the 1600 block of North Vermont Avenue when a private ambulance struck him.

The witnesses said the ambulance driver left the scene without identifying himself or rendering aid.

Bork died at the scene of extensive head trauma.

Police said there might have been a passenger in the ambulance.
