Eye on L.A. for July 25, 2009

Originally aired Sat., May 30, at 6:30 p.m.
LOS ANGELES The pre-fabricated home we visited in Eye on LA was created by KAA Design Group. HOM Escape in Style is an eco-friendly lifestyle line of manufactured housing and carefully-crafted furniture and accessories. As design-forward as it is inherently green, HOM demonstrates that living simply and ecologically doesn't have to come at the cost of style or comfort.

THROUGH THE LENS
If you're a photographer or simply a photography fan, there's a new place in Century City to view images from some of the most renowned names in the field. It's called the "Annenberg Space for Photography" and admission is free.

GREEN WEDDINGS
Keeping it simple and eco-friendly has become a popular trend in weddings. New York Times environmental writer Mireya Navarro is the author of "Green Wedding," a new book outlining smart environmentally-friendly alternatives to traditional nuptials. Navarro shows us how "greening" a white wedding can help save couples and guests money, while helping the Earth.

CLOTHING FOR A CAUSE
"Signorelli" is a Los Angeles based clothing line made up of unique t-shirts that are more than just fashion statements. They're designed especially to raise awareness about different charities, with a percentage of the sales going directly to help support their causes -- they're also a favorite among celebrities.

WATER FOR THOUGHT
At the "Aquarium of the Pacific" in Long Beach, special exhibits show some of the more innovative techniques to conserve water during this Southern California drought.
