Shooting at Johnny's Pastrami kills 1

JEFFERSON PARK, Calif. Police said two people were sitting in a red vehicle in the parking lot of Johnny's Pastrami on the 4300 block of West Adams when a lone gunman drove by and fired several shots at about 1:30 a.m.

A 30-year-old man was shot in the upper body and head and was declared dead at the scene. His name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

A 26-year-old woman was shot in both arms. She was rush to a local hospital and is now in stable condition.

Police are still looking for the shooter.
