Public help sought in Inglewood drive-by

INGLEWOOD, Calif. Police said Crystal Crawford was sitting in her car Saturday night near 95th street and 8th Avenue when suspects pulled up in a gray sedan and opened fire.

Crawford was killed, and one of her passengers was shot in the jaw. He is expected to survive.

Crawford's mother Wanda Fifer Crawford is demanding justice for the fatal shooting.

"We're going to be missing her forever because she made a great impact on all of our lives," she said.

Crawford graduated from Biola University, and she was a teacher at St. John's Lutheran Preschool in El Segundo.

Police said the shooting appears to be gang-related.

Anyone with information is urged to call Inglewood police at (888) 41-CRIME.
