1 dead after car veers off L.A. road

LOS ANGELES The California Highway Patrol said the car tumbled about 100 feet down an embankment on San Gabriel Canyon Road at mile marker 20.

Three other people inside the car were also injured. One was able to get out of the car on their own, but the two others needed help from firefighters and were transported to the hospital.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
