Depp leaves $4K tip for Chicago waiter

CHICAGO Depp stopped by a restaurant last week while in town for a screening of his new movie "Public Enemies."

The actor and his group racked up a $4,400 bill.

Depp paid the check and tipped the waiter $4,000.

The waiter says he has served other celebrities in the past, but no one has ever been as generous as Depp.

Depp's movie, "Public Enemies," opens nationwide on July 1.
