Bobcat shot with pellet gun in OC

SAN CLEMENTE, Calif. A San Clemente man found the animal alive, but not moving in his backyard last week and called animal control.

They took the cub to a vet where they found that the pellet had gone into the animal's spine, leaving it paralyzed. It was at that time that they determined the animal could not be saved.

Whoever shot the bobcat could face animal cruelty charges.
