Man arrested after opening fire at deputies

WATTS, Calif. L.A. County Sheriff's deputies said a suspect shot at them just before 1 a.m. Deputies returned fire, but the man took off running.

They searched the neighborhood surrounding 109th Street and Wilmington Avenue and found the suspect hiding.

They say he suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was taken to the hospital.
