LAPD apologizes to Kennedy family

The Los Angeles Police Department has issued an apology for an exhibit which showed clothing worn by Senator Robert F. Kennedy when he was assassinated.The items were displayed at a homicide investigators conference in Las Vegas.

Kennedy's family complained to the LAPD and the clothing was removed.

The exhibit featured evidence from famous murder cases in Los Angeles, including the tie, shirt, and jacked worn by Senator Kennedy when he was killed at the Ambassador Hotel in 1968.
