New on DVD: Comedy, thriller, fantasy

Hollywood Wrap with George Pennacchio
LOS ANGELES Director Tim Burton's version of "Alice in Wonderland" is now available for home viewing. Its success at the box office turned it in to Disney's fourth biggest film of all time.

The Blu-ray version of the film includes nine bonus features.

"The Wolfman" is also new for home viewing. /*Oscar*/ winners Benicio Del Toro and Anthony Hopkins star in a re-imagining of the classic story.

Both the DVD and Blu-ray versions come with both the R-rated theatrical release and an unrated director's cut.

From the classics shelf this week is "The Three Stooges: Volume 8." The set includes 32 digitally re-mastered shots from 1955 to 1959.

And from the television world, there's season one of "Drop Dead Diva."

The show revolves around a shallow model who's killed in an accident, with her soul coming back in the body of a plus-size and recently deceased attorney.

And that's what's new on DVD.
