Drosselmeyer wins in upset at Belmont Stakes

NEW YORK Drosselmeyer won the /*Belmont Stakes*/ Saturday, achieving an upset after taking the lead in the stretch.

Drosselmeyer, a 3-year-old colt, started the race with 13 to 1 odds.

Fly Down placed in second and First Dude showed in third place.

Drosselmeyer gave Hall of Fame trainer Bill Mott his first /*Triple Crown*/ win and jockey Mike Smith his first Belmont win.
