Investigators said a mom can be heard cheering her daughter on as the girl got into a brawl with a classmate.
"We're basically in shock a parent can sit there and watch their child and not intervene," Dave Bristow, Manatee County Sheriff's spokesman.
The mother allegedly admitted to detectives that what she did was wrong, but that the fight was going to happen one way or another.
