Pic released of 'Chimney Sweep Bandit' suspect

LOS ANGELES A surveillance camera captured pictures of the man on Nov. 4 robbing a Bank of America branch on Hawthorne Avenue in Torrance.

The man displayed a note stating he had a gun and demanding money.

Authorities said he may be related to the so-called "Chimney Sweep Bandit," wanted for bank robberies in Ventura and Orange counties.

Anyone with information is asked to call Torrance police at (310) 328-3456.
